Home is your central hub for all conversations, including Chats, Threads & Pinned Conversations.
Home Inbox
Centered in your Home is your unified inbox. This will feature your Pinned discussions at the top followed by your most recent Chats & Threads in chronological order. You can choose a List or Group display for your inbox above the Pinned conversations.
Above your Pinned conversations, you can select to see conversations from Today, This Week, or conversations with Unread messages. You can select a number of other conversation filters by clicking Filter in the top right.
There are a number of conversation actions you can take from your Home inbox. Simply hover your cursor over the discussion to access the features.
- Mark As Unread (chat icon): This will feature the pinned conversation in bold for the Pinned section in your Home as well as the appropriate Chat or Thread inbox.
- Mute (bell icon): This feature will keep your conversation pinned but will silence the push notifications of the discussion until you unmute it.
- Remove From Inbox (slashed inbox icon): This will remove the conversation from your inbox and can be found in All on your left hand navigation. This is a good feature for discussions that you may want to occasionally drop in on to get back up to speed.
- Reminder (alarm clock icon): This feature is your Synco task management tool. Similar to your email, you can set a reminder to revisit a specific conversation at a future time (later today, tomorrow, next week, or a customized time).
- Pin (push pin icon): This will move the conversation to your Pinned section.
- Star: You can Star different conversations that you want to revisit at a future time. By hitting the Star icon, you can access that discussion in your Starred discussions in your left hand navigation
Left Hand Navigation
On the left side of your Synco Home, you can create new discussions, visit your Chats & Threads, drop in on Group and Tag discussions, and extract files out of Synco.
To start a new discussion, click on New Chat or New Thread in the top of your left hand navigation.
You can access all historical Chats and Threads via the respective inboxes. Additionally, if you want to filter to Threads that you have Starred or that include Reminders, you can select that link.
My Groups will include all of the distribution Groups that you are a member of, regardless of whether you receive those Group threads in your inbox. Clicking on any of the Groups will filter your inbox down to those specific group-related conversations. NOTE: Groups highlighted in white are signaling that conversations are happening that you've not yet seen.
The My Tags section of your left hand navigation will feature all of the Synco tags that you've used to file a thread. These are broken down by Tag category. Clicking on an individual tag will filter your inbox to Threads that have been filed using that tag.
The bottom of your left hand navigation includes administrative and action tools to help you manage your Synco account. You can visit your company's contacts and Groups in Contacts. Support will direct you to the Synco team to assist with any questions. Downloads & Exports allows you to access all files you have downloaded in the last 30 days. Admin is specific to your team's Synco admins. My Profile gives you the ability to customize your Synco account.
