Adjust all of your personal settings in My Profile
To modify your user settings, simply navigate to the "My Profile" section located in the left-hand navigation bar.
1. Updating your avatar
To update your profile picture, simply click on the orange pencil icon and choose a new photo or take a photo to upload.
2. Personalizing your language preferences
To translate messages into your preferred language, click on the pencil icon next to "Preferred Language" to customize your language translation settings. When users select a language preference, they can easily translate incoming messages into their preferred language by clicking on the translate button in any conversation.
3. Send settings
Users have the option to customize their message sending preferences in Synco. In the "Enter Key Settings," users can choose whether they want the enter key to send messages or add a new line. If they choose to add a new line with the enter key, they can also use the keyboard shortcut of command+enter to send messages, along with the send button in Synco.
4. My Groups inbox settings
Synco allows users to customize their notification preferences for group conversations. You have the power to select which conversations you want to receive notifications for and have delivered to your inbox, and which ones you prefer to drop-in on without being bothered by notifications. To turn off notifications for a specific group, simply toggle the notification icon off (it will appear grey and crossed out). This will ensure that new conversations from that group will not show in your inbox. On the other hand, if you want to stay informed and receive new conversations for a particular group in your inbox, keep the notification turned on (it will appear blue). This way, you'll be notified whenever there are new messages in that group. See Managing your Inbox for more details.
