Searching for information in Synco is quick and easy. There are various ways to find the information you need. Using the search bar and filter allows you to get what you need, instantly.
Search Bar
You can search for conversations and files under specific Tags, Groups, Individuals, and keywords. Navigate to your search bar above your Home, Threads Inbox, or Chats (you can navigate to each on your left hand navigation).
Search Tags
Click into the search bar and type the # symbol followed by the name of the tag. Once you see the tag in the dropdown, click on it. Your Threads results will filter down to the tagged conversations. NOTE: Groups and Tags are only available in Threads.
Search People
1. Search Bar: In the search bar, type the @ symbol followed by the name of the person or Group that you would like to search. Select the appropriate name from the dropdown menu. After selecting the individual, your Home or Threads Inbox will update based on your criteria. NOTE: You can use the Search Bar to select multiple individuals and Groups. Your Home or Threads Inbox will filter down, appropriately.
Search Keyword(s)
You can use your Home or Threads Inbox Search Bar to search conversations for keywords. Simply click into the Search Bar and type the keyword you would like to search. Then hit Enter. Your results will update to your criteria. NOTE: Users can combine a search of callouts, tags and keyword to get the most refined results.
Synco Filters:
You can search your Home, Threads Inbox, or Chats via filters. Similar to an email inbox, these filters allow you to refine your results to get to the information you need.
1. Filter Button: You can filter all Threads and Chats via Home. Select Filter at the top of your inbox. A popup will appear with the conversation filters.
2. Apply Filters: To filter conversations, you can remain in the All Types tab if you would like to search everything. You can also refine the filtering by select Chats or Threads to specify your search.
In All Types, you can select filters that will specify conversation attributes, people, email addresses for External Party Access, Date Range, or Tag. Select the appropriate filters and click Apply Filters. Your inbox results will reflect your filters.
