Synco now gives users control of conversations by allowing the removal of individuals, groups, and tags that are no longer relevant
Remove Users From Conversations
1. Choose User to Remove: When in the selected conversation, you will see the users' avatars to the left of their messages (and above the thread). Hover over the person you want to remove from the conversation. Click Remove From Conversation.
2. Confirm Removal of User: A pop up window will appear to confirm the removal. Click Remove.
Remove Groups From Conversations
1. Choose Group to Remove: While in the selected conversation, hover over the row of Groups above the thread. Choose the Group you would like to remove by clicking on the “X” within the Group’s bubble.
2. Confirm Group Removal: A popup window will appear. Click Remove.
Remove Tags From Conversations
1. Choose Tag to Remove: Within the selected conversation, click on the Conversation Details icon above the conversation. In the popup window, choose the Tag you would like to remove by clicking on the “X” within the Tag’s bubble. Clicking on the tag will automatically remove it from the conversation.
NOTE: Removing Users, Groups, or Tags will send a system notification to all users in that conversation.

Q: Who can remove users, groups and tags from conversations?
A: Anyone can remove them from a conversation.
Q: Can I remove myself from a conversation?
A: Yes. To remove yourself, hover over your own avatar in the conversation and click Leave Conversation.
Q: When I search a Tag, will it retrieve conversations where it has been removed?
A: No. Searching tags will only retrieve conversations that currently include the tag. Tags can always be reintroduced when needed.
Q: Can I remove multiple tags, groups, and users at once?
A: Yes. The fastest way to do this would be through the conversation details. You can make multiple removals at once.
Q: When I remove a Group, will it remove active participants in the conversation?
A: No. Active participants will still be on the conversation's distribution.
