Pinning Chats and Threads ensures that important discussions are easily accessible and organized.
Both Chats & Threads can be easily pinned to your app's Home. This simple but effective feature helps you stay focused and efficient in managing ongoing conversations. It's a great feature when you are out in the field and need to quickly message a team member or Group from your Synco app.
How To Pin a Chat
1. Select Chat: From Home, navigate to your recent Chats in your Home inbox or visit all of your discussions via Chats on your left hand navigation. Hover your mouse over any Chat to see the Pin icon on the right of the conversation.
2. Pin Chat: Click on the Pin. Your Chat will now be featured at the top of your Home and Chats inbox until you Unpin it. NOTE: On your mobile app, simply swipe right to Pin the conversation.
3. Pin A Chat In Conversation: You can also Pin a Chat while in any conversation. Simply click on the settings menu in the top right of the chat (three vertical dots). Select Pin. This Chat will now be featured at the top of your Chats inbox and Home.
How To Pin a Thread
1. Select Thread: From Home, navigate to your recent Threads in your Home inbox or visit all of your discussions via the Threads Inbox on your left hand navigation. Hover your mouse over any Thread to see the Pin icon on the right of the conversation.
2. Pin Thread: Click on the Pin. Your Thread will now be featured at the top of your Home and Threads Inbox until you Unpin it. NOTE: On your mobile app, simply swipe right to Pin the conversation.
2. Pin A Thread In Conversation: You can also Pin a Thread while in any conversation. In your Thread, click on the settings menu in the top right of the Thread (three vertical dots). Select Pin. This conversation will now be featured at the top of your Threads Inbox and Home.
Pinned Conversations
Your pinned conversations will be featured at the top of your Home as well as their respective Chats & Threads Inbox.
Quick Actions For Pinned Conversations:
Hover your mouse over any pinned conversation to access some of the below quick actions:
- Mark As Unread (chat icon): This will feature the pinned conversation in bold for the Pinned section in your Home as well as the appropriate Chat or Thread inbox.
- Mute (bell icon): This feature will keep your conversation pinned but will silence the push notifications of the discussion until you unmute it.
- Remove From Inbox (slashed inbox icon): This will remove the conversation from your inbox and can be found in All on your left hand navigation. This is a good feature for discussions that you may want to occasionally drop in on to be brought up to speed.
- Set Reminder (alarm clock icon): This feature is your Synco task management tool. Similar to your email, you can set a reminder to revisit a specific conversation at a future time (later today, tomorrow, next week, or a customized time).
- Unpin (push pin icon): This will remove the conversation from your Pinned section.
