Experience the power of Synco like never before with our new desktop app. Enjoy faster performance, seamless notifications, and the convenience of staying connected directly from your desktop—without the need to keep a browser window open.
1. Download Desktop App: Click on the link to start the download process - Synco Desktop App
2. Install App For Windows/PC: After clicking on the link, go to your desktop Downloads (or click on the downloaded files at the top right of your browser window). Once you have found the Synco downloaded file, double-click on it to Install and Open Synco.
NOTE: Some PC's may require an additional step to allow access. If this happens to you, click on Allow Unverified File after you click on the downloaded file.
3. Notifications For Windows/PC: Once the app is downloaded to your desktop, go to your search bar and search for the Synco app. Once selected from the search results, click on Pin to Start. This will enable your banner notifications for the Synco app.
NOTE: For Mac users, notifications will automatically turn on during installation. They can be turned off via your app settings.
4. Desktop App Preferences: To ensure easy access to the app and have it launch automatically when you start your computer, please adjust your desktop's app preferences. This will keep the Synco Desktop App on your computer's forefront.
Pin to Taskbar for Windows/PC: Open your search menu. Type Synco into the search so it populates the Synco Desktop App as a result. Once it appears, right click on the Synco Desktop App result and select Pin to taskbar.
Pin to Taskbar for Mac: Open Finder from your dock and select Applications on the left-hand side. Once you have found the Synco Desktop App, double click the icon to open it. The Synco Desktop App will appear in your taskbar once opened. To make sure the app stays in your taskbar, right-click the Synco icon. Navigate to Options and choose Keep in Dock.
Launch at Startup For Windows/PC: While in the Synco app, click on Synco on the top left corner of your computer screen. From there, navigate down the menu options and click on Launch at Startup.
Launch at Startup For Mac: Once the app is in the taskbar, right-click the icon. Navigate to Options and select Open at Login.
